1、提问设计要设阶梯,层层递进,逐级攀登,以完成教学任务。对于教学中的一些重难点,我们尽量设计一些铺垫性的问题,依据学生水平,想方设法化难为易,化繁为简,由近及远,一环扣一环,逐步解决大问题,从心理学和教育学角度看,这是符合学生认知规律的。

2、提问设计应有“度”。我们认为这个“度”必须是广义的,它应该包括提问设计的难度、深度(铺垫性设问)、亮度(讲究感情色彩,抓住学生原有知识经验和新接受信息不适应而产生的心理失衡,提出问题,打动学生的心)、跨度(抓住教材重点、难点,问得集中,施行浓缩法,加大问题容量)、角度、精度、密度等,尤其是提问设计中的难易度的把握。提问有一定难度,才能激发学生求知欲,调动学生注意力,刺激学生思维,让学生体会到智力角逐的乐趣。

3、提问设计要“巧”。在英语阅读教学的提问设计中,教师对题型的研究,显得十分重要。因为从纵向看,它必须考虑因课堂教学流程中各个时机、环节的不同而不同;从横向看,则要依据教材内容和学生实际有所区别。这就要求教师匠心独运,在“巧”字上下功夫。一般地说,①要采用多种提问方式,如投石激浪式、选择比较式、填充补续式、追踪探因式、检查整理式等。②要讲究操作调控方式。要注意提问的时机、提问的对象、提问的方式、答问的评价等。③要讲究提问的逻辑:问题要合理,问域要适度,概念要清楚,表达要明确,答案要未知。在英语教学中,提问设计的“巧” ,越来越显出其重要作用,既能节省教学时间,又能提高教学质量,此法必须持之以恒。

回忆起来,我的英语水平突飞猛进是在接触了美剧之后开始的。我高中才开始看美剧,貌似有点落伍了,呵呵。我看的第一部美剧就是被许多英语初学者奉为经典的Friends,并且自此一发不可收拾,深深地陷入了美剧的泥沼之中无法自拔。看美剧可以迅速提高我们的口语水平。记得高中之前我看原版电影的时候,偶尔隐去字幕,只能听懂大约百分之五十。初看Friends时,我完全不明白剧中的人在笑些什么,无法产生共鸣。不过,大家要相信,英语学习贵在坚持。当我煎熬着看完了最初的几集之后,我开始慢慢进入状态了,开始明白剧中大量的美式幽默,开始时不时对着屏幕嗤笑,呵呵。这感觉是相当的好啊,就好像融入到一个新的语言环境当中,开始体验一种不一样的文化。自此,我开始爱上美剧,特别是生活气息浓厚的美剧,比如说Sex and the city。我用一周时间看完了十季的Friends,居然还意犹未尽,有反复看了三四遍呢。看美剧是在享受视听盛宴的同时不知不觉的提高自己的英语水平,尤其是口语哦。相信许多朋友和我会有共鸣,看了美剧后我才发现原来自己学的英语和现实中的英语有着天大的区别啊。这的确会让人有点小小的沮丧,不过正如我先前提到的,打基础是很有必要的,现在的对于英语口语的追求实际上就是在建造我们的大楼啦。大家都知道,雅思是很注重听力和口语的一项考试。在两年的美剧的帮助下,我在高二的暑假顺利通过了雅思考试,并且拿到了7、0的证书。

上了大学之后,有了更多的自由时间,相对而言,许多人因为已经摆脱了高考的压力,所以接触英语的时间越来越少了,对英语也越来越生疏了。为了防止这种情况发生,我开始不断的报名参加英语考试,为的只是让自己保持对英语的激情,让自己时时刻刻都有学习的动力。到目前为止,我参加了四六级考试,中高口考试,也都获得了不错的成绩。下一阶段,我有打算像BEC进发了,呵呵。我觉得,目前对我而言最重要的是学习的过程,而不是结果。许多人问过我为什么能坚持学英语,即使没有考试的压力也不松懈下来,我认为关键就在于我很享受英语学习的过程。我把英语看成是一种自我表达方式,而非生存技巧,这样就可以时刻保持学习的新鲜感了。

Jane Eyre never felt herself inferior as a tutor before Mr. Rochester and gained an equal status. She had lofty sentiments and was pure in mind. She had not been contaminated by common customs, so was attracted by her independent personality and falling love with her.

In the story, Jane Eyre dismissed the chaise and driver with the double remuneration, which reflected her determination to come back to Mr. Rochester. She did not know whether Mr. Rochester was really there, but she still groped about in the twilight and came to the desolate house. She missed him that much. She only hoped that Mr Rochester let her live with him even if she found Mr Rochester blind and mutilated.

Mr rochester became extremely excited when he heard and felt his beloved Jane was still living. He suggested that Jane marry one of the other young men because he thought himself as a sightless block. But he also showed his jealousy when Jane talked about St. John’s proposing marriage. Book review of The Little Prince

The Little Prince is a tale for both children and adults. The Little Prince is the story of a man who crashes his airplane into the desert only to meet a traveling boy from a small planet. The boy inquires about trees and sheep, shares his journeys and various encounters, and then leaves. Yet, reading between the lines, the story offers a much more complex, eiching, satisfying and eye-opening moral: what matters in life is love - and caring about someone or something and maintaining that relationship. The prince loves his rose enough to care for it every night by protecting it with a glass globe and requesting a muzzle for his sheep. He knows that the rose is naive with only four purposeless thorns and, out of his loyalty to her, it is his duty to protect her. Likewise, the narrator loves the prince and feels an obligation to secure his safe journey home.

I read this book as a child and was infected with a sense of awe and a newfound respect for the written word and its power to touch, heal and change perception. For myself, it accomplished two things; it instilled in me a desire to one day

become a writer and touch others with my words and like the narrator of the story, and Antoine De Saint-Exupery (whose own plane crash is said to have been the basis for the tale) it instilled within me a hope that one day the Little Prince will return and someone will let me know.

What is the meaning of this tale? Easily saying is that the tale talk about many normal things like morals and principles and values from two different but successive way as children and adults. As the narrator said you can only catch adults’ attention by describing the price of something or saying the number of something. It’s hard to make adults feel lovely by the children’s beautiful describing. That is the reason why many adults believe this tale is a tale for adults.

Being insincere and utilitarian, adults consider useful and kids think sinful. Free spirit and free heart, adults consider absurd and children believe necessary. The amazing point is that these two different beliefs are held by one species--Human. When we were young, we could see anything God want us to see. But after decades, what we could see was only something we need to see.

There are so many good things for children and their imagination. And there are not so many things for adults and their reality.

The minute I got home, I gave Tex a gigantic hug.

一回到家,我就给特克斯一个大大的拥抱。

“This is the luckiest hat in the world,” I said. “I’m never taking it off!”

“But you promised to give it back!” said Tex.

“I know, but…” I pretended to try to pull the hat off my head. “I think it’s stuck.”

“It is not!” said Tex.

“没有!”特克斯说。

“Please-oh-please let me borrow your lucky hat for one more day!” I begged.

“Tomorrow I’m auditioning for the school play, and I need every bit of help I can get.”

“OK,” said Tex. “One more day. But you’d better be really nice to me.”

“I will,” I agreed. “In fact, here you can have my lucky dollar!” Tex let out a whoop, then started dancing around and waving his gift in the air.

The next day turned out to be super lucky. My audition couldn’t have gone better.

“Wow, Arizona!” said my friend Mareya. “I can’t believe how amazingly you just did! You are so getting a major part in this play!”

“Thanks! You did really great, too!” I said. “But honestly, the only reason I did OK is because I had my lucky hat.”

“What lucky hat?” asked Mareya.

“什么幸运帽?”玛瑞娅问。

“This one,” I said, reaching into my backpack, where I thought I’d put Tex’s hat since I couldn’t wear it for the audition. But it wasn’t there! “Oh no!” I cried. “It’s gone! What am I going to tell Tex?”

“就是这个,”我边说边把手伸进书包里,我以为我把特克斯的帽子放在书包里了,因为我不能戴着它表演。但帽子不在里面!“哦,不!”我喊道,“它不见了!我怎么跟特克斯交代啊?”

Mareya helped me look for it. Luckily, we found Tex’s hat in my locker. Also luckily, I discovered that I could be lucky with or without a goofy-looking cap in my possession.

玛瑞娅也帮我找,幸运的是,我们发现原来帽子放在我的储物柜里了。同样幸运的是,我发现无论戴不戴那顶落入我手中让我看起来滑稽可笑的帽子,我都会有好运。

“So it wasn’t the hat,” said Mareya. “This is just a wild guess, but maybe it was all those hours you spent practicing over the past month.”

“所以,并不是因为那顶帽子,”玛瑞娅说,“那不过是瞎猜罢了。也许那是你过去一个月里刻苦练习的结果。”

“Hmm,” I said. “It’s possible.”

“嗯,”我说,“可能是!”

So, dear Looking, I guess you could say that luck is a combination of being prepared, believing in yourself…and maybe just a tiny bit of magic!In other words, luck may come your way, but you have to be ready for it when it does!
